PD-L1 (CD274) FISH Probe
Our PD-L1 probe is designed to detect PD-L1 copy number amplifications and deletions. The probe comes labeled in orange, but can be customized to meet your needs.
Gene Background: Programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1) protein is a cell-surface receptor on certain lymphocytes. The interaction between PD-1 and its ligand, programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1), plays an essential regulatory role in the human immune system by inhibiting the body’s immune response to foreign antigens. However, many tumor types take advantage of the protein’s immune evasion by expressing PD-L1 on their cell surface, thereby activating PD-1/PD-L1 signaling to effectively dodge immune recognition.
