ZNF408 Break Apart FISH Probe
Empire Genomics’ ZNF408 Break Apart FISH Probe is designed to flank the ZNF408 gene and is typically used for detecting ZNF408 rearrangements such as translocations. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe comes labeled in orange and green by default, but may be customized to meet your needs.

Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene contains ten tandem zinc fingers and an N-terminal SET domain, so it is likely a DNA binding protein that interacts with other proteins. In adults, the encoded protein is expressed most highly in retina. Consequently, defects in this gene have been associated with familial exudative vitreoretinopathy (FEVR) and retinitis pigmentosa (RP). [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2016]
