ZNF195 FISH Probe
The ZNF195 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the ZNF195 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene encodes a protein belonging to the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. These family members are transcription factors that are implicated in a variety of cellular processes. This gene is located near the centromeric border of chromosome 11p15.5, next to an imprinted domain that is associated with maternal-specific loss of heterozygosity in Wilms' tumors. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2012]
