ZKSCAN5 Break Apart FISH Probe
Empire Genomics’ ZKSCAN5 Break Apart FISH Probe is designed to flank the ZKSCAN5 gene and is typically used for detecting ZKSCAN5 rearrangements such as translocations. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe comes labeled in orange and green by default, but may be customized to meet your needs.

Gene Summary
This gene encodes a zinc finger protein of the Kruppel family. The protein contains a SCAN box and a KRAB A domain and may be involved in transcriptional regulation. A similar protein in mouse is differentially expressed in spermatogenesis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2015]
