Empire Genomics’ YAF2 Break Apart FISH Probe is designed to flank the YAF2 gene and is typically used for detecting YAF2 rearrangements such as translocations. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe comes labeled in green and orange by default, but may be customized to meet your needs.

This gene encodes a zinc finger containing protein that functions in the regulation of transcription. This protein was identified as an interacting partner of transcriptional repressor protein Yy1, and also interacts with other transcriptional regulators, including Myc and Polycomb.
