TYW1 Break Apart FISH Probe
Empire Genomics’ TYW1 Break Apart FISH Probe is designed to flank the TYW1 gene and is typically used for detecting TYW1 rearrangements such as translocations. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe comes labeled in orange and green by default, but may be customized to meet your needs.

Gene Summary
Wybutosine (yW) is a hypermodified guanosine found in phenylalanine tRNA adjacent to the anticodon that stabilizes codon-anticodon interactions in the ribosome. In yeast, the homolog of this gene is essential for the synthesis of wybutosine. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2015]
