SNRPG FISH Probe
The SNRPG FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the SNRPG gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a component of the U1, U2, U4, and U5 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein complexes, precursors of the spliceosome. The encoded protein may also be a part of the U7 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein complex, which participates in the processing of the 3' end of histone transcripts. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2015]
