RAB4A FISH Probe
The RAB4A FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the RAB4A gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene is a member of the largest group in the Ras superfamily of small GTPases, which regulate membrane trafficking. The encoded protein is associated with early endosomes and is involved in their sorting and recycling. The protein also plays a role in regulating the recycling of receptors from endosomes to the plasma membrane. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for this gene.
