POLR1D Break Apart FISH Probe
Empire Genomics’ POLR1D Break Apart FISH Probe is designed to flank the POLR1D gene and is typically used for detecting POLR1D rearrangements such as translocations. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe comes labeled in orange and green by default, but may be customized to meet your needs.

Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a component of the RNA polymerase I and RNA polymerase III complexes, which function in the synthesis of ribosomal RNA precursors and small RNAs, respectively. Mutations in this gene are a cause of Treacher Collins syndrome (TCS), a craniofacial development disorder. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
