PHA2A Break Apart FISH Probe
Empire Genomics’ PHA2A Break Apart FISH Probe is designed to flank the PHA2A gene and is typically used for detecting PHA2A rearrangements such as translocations. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe comes labeled in green and orange by default, but may be customized to meet your needs.

Pseudohypoaldosteronism type II, also known as Gordon hyperkalemia-hypertension syndrome, is characterized by hyperkalemia despite normal renal glomerular filtration, hypertension, and correction of physiologic abnormalities by thiazide diuretics. Mild hyperchloremia, metabolic acidosis, and suppressed plasma renin activity are variable associated findings.[supplied by OMIM, Jul 2002]
