NXPH1 Break Apart FISH Probe
Empire Genomics’ NXPH1 Break Apart FISH Probe is designed to flank the NXPH1 gene and is typically used for detecting NXPH1 rearrangements such as translocations. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe comes labeled in orange and green by default, but may be customized to meet your needs.

Gene Summary
This gene is a member of the neurexophilin family and encodes a secreted protein with a variable N-terminal domain, a highly conserved, N-glycosylated central domain, a short linker region, and a cysteine-rich C-terminal domain. This protein forms a very tight complex with alpha neurexins, a group of proteins that promote adhesion between dendrites and axons. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
