LRMDA Break Apart FISH Probe
Empire Genomics’ LRMDA Break Apart FISH Probe is designed to flank the LRMDA gene and is typically used for detecting LRMDA rearrangements such as translocations. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe comes labeled in green and orange by default, but may be customized to meet your needs.

Gene Summary
This gene encodes a leucine-rich repeat protein. The encoded protein is thought to play a role in melanocyte differentiation. Mutations in this gene have been associated with autosomal recessive oculocutaneous albinism 7 (OCA7). Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2015]
