LINC00048 FISH Probe
The LINC00048 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the LINC00048 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene is the host gene for the MIR17-92 cluster, a group of at least six microRNAs (miRNAs) that may be involved in cell survival, proliferation, differentiation, and angiogenesis. Amplification of this gene has been found in several lymphomas and solid tumors. Two non-protein coding transcript variants have been found for this host gene, but only the longest is a polycistronic transcript containing the MIR17-92 cluster. [provided by RefSeq, May 2012]
