LCAT Break Apart FISH Probe
Empire Genomics’ LCAT Break Apart FISH Probe is designed to flank the LCAT gene and is typically used for detecting LCAT rearrangements such as translocations. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe comes labeled in green and orange by default, but may be customized to meet your needs.

This gene encodes the extracellular cholesterol esterifying enzyme, lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase. The esterification of cholesterol is required for cholesterol transport.
