HBB-HS-107 FISH Probe
The HBB-HS-107 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the HBB-HS-107 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This element represents a DNase I hypersensitive site (HS) located approximately 107 kb upstream of the HBE1 (hemoglobin, epsilon 1) gene in the beta-globin gene cluster. This HS was observed in murine erythroleukemia cells carrying human chromosome 11. It is present within a large retroviral insertion (LINE:L1PA3 type) in the human genome, and therefore the mouse genome lacks an orthologous site. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2017]
