FOXI1 FISH Probe
The FOXI1 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the FOXI1 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors, which is characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. This gene may play an important role in the development of the cochlea and vestibulum, as well as in embryogenesis. The encoded protein has been found to be required for the transcription of four subunits of a proton pump found in the inner ear, the kidney, and the epididymis.
