FOXE1 FISH Probe
The FOXE1 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the FOXE1 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This intronless gene encodes a protein that belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors. Members of this family contain a conserved 100-amino acid DNA-binding 'forkhead' domain. The encoded protein functions as a thyroid transcription factor that plays a role in thyroid morphogenesis. Mutations in this gene are associated with the Bamforth-Lazarus syndrome, and with susceptibility to nonmedullary thyroid cancer-4. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2016]
