EPB41L4A FISH Probe
The EPB41L4A FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the EPB41L4A gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the band 4.1 protein superfamily. Members of this superfamily are thought to play an important role in regulating interactions between the cytoskeleton and plasma membrane, and contain an amino terminal conserved domain that binds glycophorin C. This gene product is thought to be involved in the beta-catenin signaling pathway. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2016]
