EPB41L3 FISH Probe

The EPB41L3 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the EPB41L3 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Chromosomal aberrations in chordoid meningioma—An analysis

Chordoid meningiomas are rare tumors that have been found to have deletions such as 22q, 18p, 14q, and 1p. Although the deletions are known, their correlation to their clinical findings is not as established. FISH analysis was used with a variety of our probes to see which deletion(s) each case under study had. It was found that any recurrence of chordoid meningioma had all four chromosome loci deleted.
