ENOSF1 FISH Probe
The ENOSF1 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the ENOSF1 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene can encode a mitochondrial enzyme that is thought to convert L-fuconate to 2-keto-3-deoxy-L-fuconate. This locus was originally identified as the source of antisense RNAs of the adjacent thymidylate synthase gene. Splice variants at this locus may contain an alternate 3' exon that is complementary to the 3'UTR and terminal intron of the thymidylate synthase (TS) RNA and may downregulate TS expression.
