DOLPP1 Break Apart FISH Probe
Empire Genomics’ DOLPP1 Break Apart FISH Probe is designed to flank the DOLPP1 gene and is typically used for detecting DOLPP1 rearrangements such as translocations. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe comes labeled in orange and green by default, but may be customized to meet your needs.

Gene Summary
A similar gene has been characterized in mice and encodes dolichyl pyrophosphate (Dol-P-P) phosphatase. This protein dephosphorylates dolichyl pyrophosphate so that it may be re-utilized as a glycosyl carrier lipid by the oligosaccharyltransferase multisubunit complex in the ER. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants and protein isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2012]
