DOCK180 FISH Probe
The DOCK180 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the DOCK180 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the dedicator of cytokinesis protein family. Dedicator of cytokinesis proteins act as guanine nucleotide exchange factors for small Rho family G proteins. The encoded protein regulates the small GTPase Rac, thereby influencing several biological processes, including phagocytosis and cell migration. Overexpression of this gene has also been associated with certain cancers. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2014]
