DBR1 FISH Probe

The DBR1 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the DBR1 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is an RNA lariat debranching enzyme that hydrolyzes 2'-5' prime branched phosphodiester bonds. The encoded protein specifically targets the bonds at the branch point of excised lariat intron RNA, converting them to linear molecules that are then degraded. This protein may also be involved in retroviral replication. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2011]
