D8C6 FISH Probe
The D8C6 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the D8C6 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene encodes a protein that likely functions as a transcription factor. The protein, which belongs to the ZNF75 family, includes an N-terminal SCAN domain, a KRAB box, and five C2H2-type zinc finger motifs. Another functional gene belonging to this family is located on chromosome 16, while pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 11 and 12. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcripts variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2010]
