CRE1 FISH Probe
The CRE1 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the CRE1 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This genomic element is located in an intron of the TMEM161B-AS1 (TMEM161B antisense RNA 1) gene. It was defined as a tissue-specific transcribed enhancer based on the presence of balanced bidirectional capped transcripts by cap analysis of gene expression (CAGE) in neural tissues, and on genomic conservation analysis. It was validated as a functional tissue-specific enhancer by transgenic reporter assays in both zebrafish and mice. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2016]
