CG8605-PA FISH Probe
The CG8605-PA FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the CG8605-PA gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

This gene encodes a protein first identified for its ability to interact with the RAD50 double strand break repair protein, with the resulting interaction implicated in the regulation of cell cycle progression and telomere length. The encoded protein may also play a role in trafficking of cellular cargo from the endosome to the trans-Golgi network. Mutations in this gene may be associated with breast cancer in human patients.
