CEP90 FISH Probe
The CEP90 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the CEP90 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene encodes a protein that is induced by the steroid hormone progesterone and plays a role in the maintenance of pregnancy. The encoded protein regulates multiple facets of the immune system to promote normal pregnancy including cytokine synthesis, natural killer (NK) cell activity, and arachidonic acid metabolism. Low serum levels of this protein have been associated with spontaneous pre-term labor in humans. This protein may promote the proliferation, migration and invasion of glioma.
