C85233 FISH Probe
The C85233 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the C85233 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene encodes the 66-kDa subunit of DNA polymerase delta. DNA polymerase delta possesses both polymerase and 3' to 5' exonuclease activity and plays a critical role in DNA replication and repair. The encoded protein plays a role in regulating the activity of DNA polymerase delta through interactions with other subunits and the processivity cofactor proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA).
