AGAP3 FISH Probe
The AGAP3 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the AGAP3 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene encodes an essential component of the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor signaling complex which mediates long-term potentiation in synapses by linking activation of NMDA receptor to alpha-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid (AMPA) receptor trafficking. The encoded protein contains an N-terminal GTPase-like domain, a pleckstrin homology domain, an ArfGAP domain and several C-terminal ankryn repeat domains. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2017]
