YEATS2-ATP11B Fusion FISH Probe
The YEATS2-ATP11B Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the YEATS2 and ATP11B genes. The fusion of the YEATS2 and ATP11B genes has been associated with Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

ATP11B Gene Summary
P-type ATPases, such as ATP11B, are phosphorylated in their intermediate state and drive uphill transport of ions across membranes. Several subfamilies of P-type ATPases have been identified. One subfamily transports heavy metal ions, such as Cu(2+) or Cd(2+). Another subfamily transports non-heavy metal ions, such as H(+), Na(+), K(+), or Ca(+). A third subfamily transports amphipaths, such as phosphatidylserine.[supplied by OMIM, Feb 2005]
Gene Name: ATPase Phospholipid Transporting 11B (putative)
Chromosome: CHR3: 182511290 -182639421
Locus: 3q26.33
YEATS2 Gene Summary
Summary: The protein encoded by this gene is a scaffolding subunit of the ATAC complex, which is a complex with acetyltransferase activity on histones H3 and H4. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, May 2017]
Gene Name: YEATS Domain Containing 2
