WDR20-DYNC1H1 Fusion FISH Probe
The WDR20-DYNC1H1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the WDR20 and DYNC1H1 genes. The fusion of the WDR20 and DYNC1H1 genes has been associated with Stomach Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

DYNC1H1 Gene Summary
Dyneins are a group of microtubule-activated ATPases that function as molecular motors. They are divided into two subgroups of axonemal and cytoplasmic dyneins. The cytoplasmic dyneins function in intracellular motility, including retrograde axonal transport, protein sorting, organelle movement, and spindle dynamics. Molecules of conventional cytoplasmic dynein are comprised of 2 heavy chain polypeptides and a number of intermediate and light chains. This gene encodes a member of the cytoplasmic dynein heavy chain family. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2008]
Gene Name: Dynein Cytoplasmic 1 Heavy Chain 1
Chromosome: CHR14: 102430864 -102517135
Locus: 14q32.31
WDR20 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a WD repeat-containing protein that functions to preserve and regulate the activity of the USP12-UAF1 deubiquitinating enzyme complex. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2011]
Gene Name: WD Repeat Domain 20
Chromosome: CHR14: 102606188 -102690010
Locus: 14q32.31
