UVRAG-MAP6 Fusion FISH Probe
The UVRAG-MAP6 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the UVRAG and MAP6 genes. The fusion of the UVRAG and MAP6 genes has been associated with Breast Invasive Carcinoma, and Stomach Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

This gene complements the ultraviolet sensitivity of xeroderma pigmentosum group C cells and encodes a protein with a C2 domain. The protein activates the Beclin1-PI(3)KC3 complex, promoting autophagy and suppressing the proliferation and tumorigenicity of human colon cancer cells.
