USP34-CCT4 Fusion FISH Probe
The USP34-CCT4 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the USP34 and CCT4 genes. The fusion of the USP34 and CCT4 genes has been associated with Stomach Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

USP34 Gene Summary
The Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 34 (USP34) gene is located on chr2 :61414589-61697849 at 2p15.
Gene Name: Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 34
Chromosome: CHR2: 61414589 -61697849
Locus: 2p15
CCT4 Gene Summary
The chaperonin containing TCP1 (MIM 186980) complex (CCT), also called the TCP1 ring complex, consists of 2 back-to-back rings, each containing 8 unique but homologous subunits, such as CCT4. CCT assists the folding of newly translated polypeptide substrates through multiple rounds of ATP-driven release and rebinding of partially folded intermediate forms. Substrates of CCT include the cytoskeletal proteins actin (see MIM 102560) and tubulin (see MIM 191130), as well as alpha-transducin (MIM 139330) (Won et al., 1998 [PubMed 9819444]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]
Gene Name: Chaperonin Containing TCP1 Subunit 4
Chromosome: CHR2: 62095261 -62115791
Locus: 2p15
