TRAF7-WDR24 Fusion FISH Probe
The TRAF7-WDR24 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the TRAF7 and WDR24 genes. The fusion of the TRAF7 and WDR24 genes has been associated with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

WDR24 Gene Summary
The WD Repeat Domain 24 (WDR24) gene is located on chr16 :734701-740400 at 16p13.3.
Gene Name: WD Repeat Domain 24
Chromosome: CHR16: 734701 -740400
Locus: 16p13.3
TRAF7 Gene Summary
Tumor necrosis factor (TNF; see MIM 191160) receptor-associated factors, such as TRAF7, are signal transducers for members of the TNF receptor superfamily (see MIM 191190). TRAFs are composed of an N-terminal cysteine/histidine-rich region containing zinc RING and/or zinc finger motifs; a coiled-coil (leucine zipper) motif; and a homologous region that defines the TRAF family, the TRAF domain, which is involved in self-association and receptor binding.[supplied by OMIM, Apr 2004]
Gene Name: TNF Receptor Associated Factor 7
Chromosome: CHR16: 2205798 -2228130
Locus: 16p13.3
