TOX-CHD7 Fusion FISH Probe
The TOX-CHD7 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the TOX and CHD7 genes. The fusion of the TOX and CHD7 genes has been associated with Colon Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

TOX Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene contains a HMG box DNA binding domain. HMG boxes are found in many eukaryotic proteins involved in chromatin assembly, transcription and replication. This protein may function to regulate T-cell development.[provided by RefSeq, Apr 2009]
Gene Name: Thymocyte Selection Associated High Mobility Group Box
Chromosome: CHR8: 59717976 -60031767
Locus: 8q12.1
CHD7 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a protein that contains several helicase family domains. Mutations in this gene have been found in some patients with the CHARGE syndrome. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2015]
Gene Name: Chromodomain Helicase DNA Binding Protein 7
Chromosome: CHR8: 61591323 -61780586
Locus: 8q12.2
