TNS3-PKD1L1 Fusion FISH Probe
The TNS3-PKD1L1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the TNS3 and PKD1L1 genes. The fusion of the TNS3 and PKD1L1 genes has been associated with Uterine Corpus Endometrial Carcinoma, and Skin Cutaneous Melanoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

TNS3 Gene Summary
The Tensin 3 (TNS3) gene is located on chr7 :47314751-47621742 at 7p12.3.
Gene Name: Tensin 3
Chromosome: CHR7: 47314751 -47621742
Locus: 7p12.3
PKD1L1 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the polycystin protein family containing 11 transmembrane domains, a receptor for egg jelly (REJ) domain, and a polycystin-1, lipoxygenase, alpha-toxin (PLAT) domain. The encoded protein may play a role in the male reproductive system. Alternative splice variants have been described but their biological nature has not been determined. Gene Name: Polycystin 1 Like 1, Transient Receptor Potential Channel Interacting
Chromosome: CHR7: 47814249 -47988071
Locus: 7p12.3
