TNS3-ALG13 Fusion FISH Probe
The TNS3-ALG13 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the TNS3 and ALG13 genes. The fusion of the TNS3 and ALG13 genes has been associated with Sarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

TNS3 Gene Summary
The Tensin 3 (TNS3) gene is located on chr7 :47314751-47621742 at 7p12.3.
Gene Name: Tensin 3
Chromosome: CHR7: 47314751 -47621742
Locus: 7p12.3
ALG13 Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of a bipartite UDP-N-acetylglucosamine transferase. It heterodimerizes with asparagine-linked glycosylation 14 homolog to form a functional UDP-GlcNAc glycosyltransferase that catalyzes the second sugar addition of the highly conserved oligosaccharide precursor in endoplasmic reticulum N-linked glycosylation. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2009]
Gene Name: ALG13, UDP-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase Subunit
Chromosome: CHRX: 110924345 -111003875
Locus: Xq23
