TNPO3-AHCYL2 Fusion FISH Probe
The TNPO3-AHCYL2 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the TNPO3 and AHCYL2 genes. The fusion of the TNPO3 and AHCYL2 genes has been associated with Colon Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

The protein encoded by this gene is a nuclear import receptor for serine/arginine-rich (SR) proteins such as the splicing factors SFRS1 and SFRS2. The encoded protein has also been shown to be involved in HIV-1 infection, apparently through interaction with the HIV-1 capsid protein.
