TMCO3-ATP11A Fusion FISH Probe
The TMCO3-ATP11A Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the TMCO3 and ATP11A genes. The fusion of the TMCO3 and ATP11A genes has been associated with Sarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

ATP11A Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is an integral membrane ATPase. The encoded protein is probably phosphorylated in its intermediate state and likely drives the transport of ions such as calcium across membranes. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: ATPase Phospholipid Transporting 11A
Chromosome: CHR13: 113344642 -113541482
Locus: 13q34
TMCO3 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the monovalent cation:proton antiporter 2 (CPA2) family of transporter proteins. Members of this family typically couple the export of monovalent cations, such as potassium or sodium, to the import of protons across cellular membranes. Mutations in this gene have been identified in patients with a rare inherited vision defect, cornea guttata with anterior polar cataract. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2017]
Gene Name: Transmembrane And Coiled-coil Domains 3
Chromosome: CHR13: 114145307 -114204544
Locus: 13q34
