TEX2-STARD3 Fusion FISH Probe
The TEX2-STARD3 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the TEX2 and STARD3 genes. The fusion of the TEX2 and STARD3 genes has been associated with Stomach Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

The encoded protein localizes to the membranes of late endosomes and may be involved in exporting cholesterol.
