SRPK1-PXT1 Fusion FISH Probe
The SRPK1-PXT1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the SRPK1 and PXT1 genes. The fusion of the SRPK1 and PXT1 genes has been associated with Uterine Corpus Endometrial Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

It is thought to play a role in regulation of both constitutive and alternative splicing by regulating intracellular localization of splicing factors. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants.
