The SPOCK1-ARHGAP26 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the SPOCK1 and ARHGAP26 genes. The fusion of the SPOCK1 and ARHGAP26 genes has been associated with Lung Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

The protein encoded by this gene is a GTPase activating protein that binds to focal adhesion kinase and mediates the activity of the GTP binding proteins RhoA and Cdc42.
