SASH1-MLLT4 Fusion FISH Probe
The SASH1-MLLT4 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the SASH1 and MLLT4 genes. The fusion of the SASH1 and MLLT4 genes has been associated with Brain Lower Grade Glioma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

The encoded protein has also been described as a potential tumor suppressor that may negatively regulate proliferation, apoptosis, and invasion of cancer cells, and reduced expression of this gene has been observed in multiple human cancers.
