RHOT2-DPEP1 Fusion FISH Probe
The RHOT2-DPEP1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the RHOT2 and DPEP1 genes. The fusion of the RHOT2 and DPEP1 genes has been associated with Uterine Carcinosarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

DPEP1 Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a kidney membrane enzyme involved in the metabolism of glutathione and other similar proteins by dipeptide hydrolysis. The encoded protein is known to regulate leukotriene activity by catalyzing the conversion of leukotriene D4 to leukotriene E4.
