RALY-ATRN Fusion FISH Probe
The RALY-ATRN Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the RALY and ATRN genes. The fusion of the RALY and ATRN genes has been associated with Sarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

ATRN Gene Summary
This gene encodes both membrane-bound and secreted protein isoforms. A membrane-bound isoform exhibits sequence similarity with the mouse mahogany protein, a receptor involved in controlling obesity. A secreted isoform is involved in the initial immune cell clustering during inflammatory responses that may regulate the chemotactic activity of chemokines. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2016]
Gene Name: Attractin
Chromosome: CHR20: 3451664 -3631769
Locus: 20p13
RALY Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) gene family. This protein may play a role in pre-mRNA splicing and in embryonic development. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2011]
Gene Name: RALY Heterogeneous Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein
Chromosome: CHR20: 32581457 -32670991
Locus: 20q11.22
