PPP1R2-APOD Fusion FISH Probe
The PPP1R2-APOD Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the PPP1R2 and APOD genes. The fusion of the PPP1R2 and APOD genes has been associated with Adrenocortical Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

It has a high degree of homology to plasma retinol-binding protein and other members of the alpha 2 microglobulin protein superfamily of carrier proteins, also known as lipocalins.
