PPIG-CRIM1 Fusion FISH Probe
The PPIG-CRIM1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the PPIG and CRIM1 genes. The fusion of the PPIG and CRIM1 genes has been associated with Breast Invasive Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

PPIG Gene Summary
The Peptidylprolyl Isomerase G (PPIG) gene is located on chr2 :170440849-170494254 at 2q31.1.
Gene Name: Peptidylprolyl Isomerase G
Chromosome: CHR2: 170440849 -170494254
Locus: 2q31.1
CRIM1 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a transmembrane protein containing six cysteine-rich repeat domains and an insulin-like growth factor-binding domain. The encoded protein may play a role in tissue development though interactions with members of the transforming growth factor beta family, such as bone morphogenetic proteins. Gene Name: Cysteine Rich Transmembrane BMP Regulator 1
Chromosome: CHR2: 36583369 -36778278
Locus: 2p22.2
