PARD3-COLQ Fusion FISH Probe
The PARD3-COLQ Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the PARD3 and COLQ genes. The fusion of the PARD3 and COLQ genes has been associated with Stomach Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

COLQ Gene Summary
This gene encodes the subunit of a collagen-like molecule associated with acetylcholinesterase in skeletal muscle. Each molecule is composed of three identical subunits. Each subunit contains a proline-rich attachment domain (PRAD) that binds an acetylcholinesterase tetramer to anchor the catalytic subunit of the enzyme to the basal lamina. Mutations in this gene are associated with endplate acetylcholinesterase deficiency. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: Collagen Like Tail Subunit Of Asymmetric Acetylcholinesterase
Chromosome: CHR3: 15491639 -15563258
Locus: 3p25.1
PARD3 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the PARD protein family. PARD family members interact with other PARD family members and other proteins; they affect asymmetrical cell division and direct polarized cell growth. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2011]
Gene Name: Par-3 Family Cell Polarity Regulator
Chromosome: CHR10: 34398487 -35104253
