PALLD-ANXA10 Fusion FISH Probe

The PALLD-ANXA10 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the PALLD and ANXA10 genes. The fusion of the PALLD and ANXA10 genes has been associated with Sarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

Turnaround Time: 7-10 Business Days    Shipping Time: 1-2 Day Expedited Shipping

ANXA10 Gene Summary

This gene encodes a member of the annexin family. Members of this calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein family play a role in the regulation of cellular growth and in signal transduction pathways. The function of this gene has not yet been determined. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Gene Name: Annexin A10

Chromosome: CHR4: 169013687 -169108893

Locus: 4q32.3

PALLD Gene Summary

This gene encodes a cytoskeletal protein that is required for organizing the actin cytoskeleton. The protein is a component of actin-containing microfilaments, and it is involved in the control of cell shape, adhesion, and contraction. Polymorphisms in this gene are associated with a susceptibility to pancreatic cancer type 1, and also with a risk for myocardial infarction. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2009]

Gene Name: Palladin, Cytoskeletal Associated Protein

Chromosome: CHR4: 169418216 -169849608

Locus: 4q32.3
