NUP107-SHD Fusion FISH Probe
The NUP107-SHD Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the NUP107 and SHD genes. The fusion of the NUP107 and SHD genes has been associated with Lung Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

SHD Gene Summary
The Src Homology 2 Domain Containing Transforming Protein D (SHD) gene is located on chr19 :4278597-4290720 at 19p13.3.
Gene Name: Src Homology 2 Domain Containing Transforming Protein D
Chromosome: CHR19: 4278597 -4290720
Locus: 19p13.3
NUP107 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the nucleoporin family. The protein is localized to the nuclear rim and is an essential component of the nuclear pore complex (NPC). All molecules entering or leaving the nucleus either diffuse through or are actively transported by the NPC. Alternate transcriptional splice variants of this gene have been observed but have not been thoroughly characterized. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: Nucleoporin 107
Chromosome: CHR12: 69080730 -69136473
Locus: 12q15
